Mission Valley Speedway's uniqueness does not end with the fact that it is the only stock car racing facility located on an Indian reservation (Flathead Indian Reservation), but it is also the only club run, not for profit facility of its kind within the Northwest, possibly within the entire United States.

Mission Valley Speedway, Pablo, Montana. MVS has been competing on a new 3/8th mile, high-banked tri-oval asphalt track since the 1997 season.. The winter of 1996/1997 brought a face lift to the Speedway in the form of a new 3/8th mile, that took the place of the 20+ year old 1/4 mile.  The improvements at Mission Valley Speedway were made possible by the Salish & Kootenai College's Heavy Equipment Class as well as many local businesses throughout the Mission Valley.  The completed improvements to the track, pits and spectator area have made it one of the most spoken about, up-and-coming Tracks in the Northwest. It is the longest and fastest track in Montana. "The corners are 14 degrees with 6 degree straight-aways!" Speeds greater than 100MPH have been reached down the speedway's "Dog Leg"  or backstretch in the fiberglass-bodied Super Stocks while the steel-bodied classes have been clocked in the 70’s and 80’s.  The overall track record of fastest lap time ever posted on MVS as a 3/8 mile track is held by NSRA 360 Sprint Car driver, Trevor 'The Tornado' Montgomery of Victoria, British Columbia with a 12.30 second lap.
